Boot leads to black screen with flashing underscore (Pop!_OS 19.04)

Hello, I am rather new to Linux and POP OS as a whole. Since today my Laptop gets stuck on a black screen with a flashing underscore on boot. The oldkern boot option still functions normally. I suspect the issue is related to the Nvidia graphic drivers but I am unable to fix it by myself. Any pointers in the right direction are highly appreciated.
