Distrowatch review for 21.X

I read the distrowatch review of 4M 21, and would like to ask about the following :
- The review says that the system asks to install WINE to run linux native games like supertux. Is that still the case ?
- Some users also complained that installing extra software like libreoffice ends in an error, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes, the software is installed, but fails to run (firefox). Comments ?
