Bears hold players-only meeting amid 2-game losing skid
The Chicago Bears held a players-only meeting Wednesday as they look to snap out of a two-game losing streak.
"We're just looking forward to getting better," said linebacker Danny Trevathan, according to the Chicago Sun-Times' Patrick Finley. "Anything that was brought to the table was things we thought of that we know can help our team."
The Bears have disappointed with a record of 3-3 this season after winning the NFC North and making the playoffs a year ago. They opened the schedule with three wins in four games, but they have since suffered losses at the hands of the Oakland Raiders and shorthanded New Orleans Saints.
"This is football. This is Chicago football," added Trevathan. "This is what we signed up for. Guys know that everybody can get a little bit better. Everybody took that attitude."
Chicago was also 3-3 in 2018 before taking off in the second half of the season.
The Bears are preparing for a Week 8 tilt with the Los Angeles Chargers.
