rss2email not working? sendmail exited with code 65

rss2email is not working for me. slackware 14.2.
crashes with
Code:cause: sendmail exited with code 65so i'm guessing its a sendmail error.
but sendmail works on my machine.
i can do sendmail user@localhost and i will receive the mail.
you guys use rss2email?
surely the best rss program out there.
beats newsboat easily.
