The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell short against the Tennessee Titans 27-23 in Week 8 after Jameis Winston threw his second interception during a late-game comeback attempt.

Coming off a five-interception performance in Week 7, Winston turned the ball over three times against the Titans.

However, head coach Bruce Arians backed his quarterback after Tampa Bay's third straight loss.

"Jameis did not throw one damn interception that was his fault," Arians said, according to Rick Stroud of Tampa Bay Times. "His receivers let him down today. Guys stopped routes that were supposed to be going down the middle."

The fifth-year quarterback completed 21 of 43 attempts for 301 yards and two touchdowns.

Mike Evans caught 11 of Winston's completions, posting 198 yards and two touchdowns. Evans was the only Buccaneer receiver to have more than five receptions or 45 receiving yards.

Winston now has three multi-interception games this season, including eight total turnovers in the past two contests.
