The NFL trade deadline came and went on Tuesday with only one trade taking place: A salary-dump move that saw injured cornerback Aqib Talib go from the Los Angeles Rams to the Miami Dolphins in a swap of late-round picks.

Among the big names rumored to be on the block but not changing teams were Le'Veon Bell and Jamal Adams, a pair of New York Jets stars. The Jets reportedly listened to offers for their star running back but didn't actively shop him. Meanwhile, multiple reports linked Adams to the Dallas Cowboys, but the Jets' asking price was reportedly too high. The Baltimore Ravens also reportedly inquired about Adams but were unable to reach a deal.

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and Washington Redskins holdout left tackle Trent Williams were also hot names leading up to the deadline, but no deal materialized for either player.

Cincinnati Bengals wideout A.J. Green was rumored to be a possible trade candidate, but by all appearances, the team never engaged in meaningful trade talks.
