slackpkg not showing installed packages

Please bear with me because I have two problems. The first has to do with a shared library error that keeps libreoffice from starting. This is the impetus for my real problem, which I'll get to in a moment. I tried to use the "check" that was in this thread, since my problem is very similar, it's just that my problem is with a later version of libicui18n.

Later in that same thread, someone suggests to uninstall libreoffice and install it again. I figured I would try that and this is my real problem. When I use

Quote:
bash-5.0# slackpkg reinstall alienbob:libreoffice

No packages match the pattern for reinstall. Try:

/usr/sbin/slackpkg install|upgrade

bash-5.0# slackpkg search alienbob:libreoffice

Looking for alienbob:libreoffice in package list. Please wait... DONE

No package name matches the pattern.
you can see that slackpkg doesn't recognize the libreoffice package, even though it is installed.

doesn't work either. So it looks like slackpkg doesn't recognize/find the libreoffice package that I installed with slackpkg. I ran the usual slackpkg procedure ("update, upgrade-all, install-new, clean-up") in this same session and that did not change libreoffice.

I do have slackpkg+ also installed, but I don't think that will affect this operation. I am using Slackware-current. I am using the -current and the alienbob repositories.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=NeCkdW3IGyM:KqlUpjZD71k:F7zBnMy latest?i=NeCkdW3IGyM:KqlUpjZD71k:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=NeCkdW3IGyM:KqlUpjZD71k:gIN9vFwNeCkdW3IGyM
