Gnome Alarm-Clock-Applet Full Screen
by llewellen from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4TJ59)
Manjaro with Budgie DE
I have been running this applet successfully for years. Suddenly today I must have accidentally hit some key strokes that it doesn't like and it has gone full screen. The function menu icons are there on the top left to create, modify, etc alarms but there is nothing anywhere on the screen to close, reduce size or hide the app. The only way out of it is to hit Esc.
I tried a couple of times to remove it and reinstall but that solved nothing. It has remembered the alarms I had created previously but there is no way that I can find to stop it from going full screen and to make it revert to its smaller app format.
Suggestions?
Edit: To clarify, regardless of whether I open the alarm app from the main Budgie dropdown menu, from the icon in the Budgie panel or from the terminal, it always opens full screen and there is no apparent way to reduce it in size. Esc is the only option.
