Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett left Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter.

Head coach Frank Reich said postgame the injury is "MCL-ish."

"I think it looks like a sprain but we'll see to what degree," he said, according to Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan. "We have to see how it responds."

Brissett, who never returned to the game, was hurt as one of his offensive linemen fell into his left leg. Brian Hoyer threw three touchdowns in his place, but Adam Vinatieri shanked a go-ahead field-goal attempt in the dying minutes and the Colts fell 26-24 on the road.

Brissett went 4 of 5 for 59 yards before exiting. He spent the second half on the sideline.

The 26-year-old entered Week 9 with 1,590 yards, 14 touchdowns, and three interceptions over seven starts.
