Report: Thielen unlikely to play Week 10
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is unlikely to play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys due to his strained hamstring, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The Vikings' 2018 receiving leader first suffered the injury during his only catch in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. He was sidelined for the following matchup against the Washington Redskins and returned in Week 9.
However, the injury isn't worse after his brief appearance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Pelissero adds. He played just 10 snaps but could still feel it pulling during the 26-23 loss and now needs to rest.
The 29-year-old has posted 27 receptions, 391 yards, and a team-high six receiving touchdowns through eight games this season.
The Vikings may be conservative regarding Thielen's health while sitting second in the NFC North with a 6-3 record. Minnesota's bye is scheduled for Week 12, and the wideout is struggling with an injury for the first time in his six-year career.
