Chargers owner calls reported London interest 'total f------ bullshit'
Warning: Story contains coarse language
Los Angeles Chargers owner Dean Spanos is strongly denying a Monday report that he would listen if the NFL asked the franchise to relocate to London, England.
Spanos called the story "a lot of crap," per Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, and insisted his team will be staying put.
"It's total fucking bullshit," Spanos said of the report, according to ESPN's Eric Williams. "We're not going to London. We're not going anywhere. We're playing in Los Angeles. This is our home, and this is where we are planning to be for a long fucking time. Period."
The team's Twitter account hilariously followed up shortly after.

The NFL weighed in later Tuesday afternoon, stating there have been "no discussions of any kind" about moving the Chargers to London.

The Chargers are scheduled to move into a new $4.5-billion Los Angeles stadium in 2020, which they'll share with the Rams. The team has been playing at Dignity Health Sports Park since leaving San Diego in 2017.
Other NFL owners are reportedly concerned with the Chargers' long-term viability in Los Angeles and would support relocation to London if the team wanted to pursue it.
