Pcmanfm does not show mounted devices in side panel.

Hello,
I'm working on a remaster of antiX core based on Jwm and Pcmanfm.
I have installed Gvfs, Udisks2 and Policykit-1.
The devices (HD, USB) get mounted at boot, show up in /media and I can access them with other programs such as Leafpad.
However, they do not show up in Pcmanfm side panel.
If I click on the device icon I get the error message "operation not supported".
Also, if I navigate in Pcmanfm to /media, I can access only those devices which have previously been accessed with another app..
I've been told of possible issues/conflicts between core automount system and Pcmanfm and i'd like to hear from other users who have been able to make it work properly.
