blackscreen because "AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch" error
by kcynice from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4TSGR)
I have a problem of my GPU hardware issue for my linux notebook.
When the machine think the screen should be turned off(eg, there was no operations on it for
a long time), I will can't wake up the screen. So, I have to use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to switch to the
console login screen, and then press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to return the desktop display again.
In fact, not only for the power manager issue, also some all the conditions if the display has
to re-start, I can got the same problem.
I have tried on Ubuntu LTS 16.04 and Slackware current, and got the same.
And then I found an error in /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
(II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch.
My graphic card hardware is Nvidia GLX 1080.
Im not sure how to fix it, I will be very appreciated if someone would like to know the right
way to fix that.
