NIS Slave to become master server

Hi Folks,
I have NIS master (V6.9)and slave server (V7.4) configured on the CentOS environment. But, due to some hardware issues NIS master server is not operational.
Now, I want NIS slave server should be act as master server permanently. I have never done this earlier so seeking your support on this..
On NIS slave server below services are running.
ypserv.service
ypbind.service
ypxfrd.service
