Earthquake In France Prompts Cruas-Meysse Shut Down

French utility EDF said it was taking precautionary measures to evaluate potential damage to the Cruas-Meysse nuclear power plants in southeast France after a 5.1 magnitude earthquake damaged some buildings in the area. Three units at the Cruas-Meysse power plant were shut down so evaluative tests could be conducted.(read more)
