Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is "week-to-week" with his back injury, head coach Matt Patricia said Monday, according to Lions reporter Tim Twentyman.

A report Sunday said Stafford could miss six weeks with fractured bones in his back. Stafford has sat out back-to-back games because of the injury.

Stafford was enjoying one of his best seasons prior to being sidelined, throwing for 2,499 yards with 19 touchdowns and five interceptions over eight games.

Detroit has dropped both contests in his absence, all but washing away its playoff chances.

In other injury news, Lions center Frank Ragnow and defensive end Trey Flowers are in the concussion protocol, Patricia said.

The Lions, who have dropped six of their last seven decisions, will meet the Washington Redskins in Week 12.
