Slackware Current on Hyper-V
by ozanbaba from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4VKB7)
Hello All,
As the new version coming together, I devided to give it a try in the MS's hyper-v. I used type 1 (Old style BIOS not EFI). I was able to install without a problem. I used ext4 as filesystem and did a full install.
After installation, I created a initrd which includes hv_vmbus:hv_storvsc:mbcache:ext4. I configured lilo and run it.
In the boot-up, however, the system gave kernel panic. I'm attaching the screenshot of the kernel panic.
I don't know which way to go now. I would like to identify the problem and solve it for the upcoming release if possible.
Regards,
Ozan
