Gore passes Sanders for 3rd on all-time rushing list
Buffalo Bills running back Frank Gore surpassed Barry Sanders' 15,269 yards to become No. 3 on the NFL's all-time rushing list late in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.
Gore is now behind only Emmitt Smith (18,355) and Walter Payton (16,726).

The 36-year-old was drafted in the third round of the 2005 draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Gore has also played for Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins in his 15 seasons.
He's the 49ers' all-time leader in both yards (11,073) and touchdowns (64) on the ground.
Gore finished Week 12 with 65 rushing yards on 15 carries. The 8-3 Bills tied their best start through 11 games since 1996 with a 20-3 victory over the 3-8 Broncos.
