Jackett proxy for qBittorrent searches
by joenew from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4VN2W)
Hi all,
I read about this software after receiving "Jackett: connection error!" issue, same as
described here:
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/9987
So, solution 1: disable jackett search engine.
Done. Above issue disappears and I'm using manually installed search plugins.
But there could be also a "solution 2".
Jackett is a proxy running as a local daemon and translates qbittorrent queries to many torrent search engines then returns to qbittorrent what it found.
https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett
https://github.com/qbittorrent/searc...Jackett-plugin
I would have few questions:
- Is anybody using Jackett plugin? Is it useful and working fine?
- As regards slackware, is there a slackbuild somewhere to package it?
Thanks a lot in advance! :)
