How to set global language?

Hi there!
Recently my system stopped talking german. E. g. in Orage clock weeks are now starting with sunday (before: monday), "Dienstag" is now "tuesday".
I guess I overlooked something when running "slackpkg update; slackpkg upgrade-all".
What do I have to change to get back my german speaking Slackware?
