Carson Wentz understands fans' disappointment regarding the Philadelphia Eagles' subpar campaign.

The Eagles fell to 5-6 on the season after a 17-9 home loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12, a game in which the team committed a season-high five turnovers - four of them by Wentz.

"They have a right to be frustrated," Wentz said, according to ESPN's Tim McManus. "They pay money to sit in those seats. They pay money to cheer us on, and they're so passionate about it. And I'm the same way. So when they're frustrated, I'm frustrated, too."

The Eagles have now failed to score more than 10 points in back-to-back home losses.

Wentz has completed 62% of his passes for 2,530 yards and 17 touchdowns against six interceptions and eight fumbles through 11 games. The 26-year-old has also been sacked 28 times, putting him on pace to top his career-high in sacks suffered (33 in 2016).

"I have so much confidence in my ability to turn this around and do my best and get these things fixed that I don't get too high or too low going through these things," the signal-caller said.

Injuries have played a role in the Eagles' below-average offensive performances of late. Their offensive unit lined up in Week 12 without several starters, including linemen Lane Johnson and Brandon Brooks, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, and running back Jordan Howard.

Philadelphia will try to snap its two-game losing streak in Sunday's Week 13 matchup against the 2-9 Miami Dolphins.
