Eagles sign kicker Elliott to 5-year extension worth reported $21.8M
The Philadelphia Eagles have rewarded kicker Jake Elliott with a five-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Elliott's deal, which runs through the 2024 season, is worth around $21.8 million and contains $10.45 million in guaranteed money, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The yearly average and total guarantees both rank third at Elliott's position.
The 24-year-old was a fifth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017, but Philadelphia signed him off the AFC North club's practice squad just after the start of that year's regular season.
Eagles K Jake Elliott has made 17 consecutive field goals, the longest active streak in the NFL. One of the game's best.
