IPv6 on Linux Server

Dear Gurus,
Please see that i have Linux Server (2.6.18-128.el5) on which i have configured IPv6 address.
But when i try to ping same IPv6 on Linux it fails.
When i try to ping Linux IPv6 from Windows (Application Server) it fails.
Your kind support is needed.
