ubuntu update create junk files

I recently updated the Ubuntu version but after that my laptop memory became almost full of junk files, which caused my laptop to slow down. I wanted to install the system mechanic to clear the junk files but I couldn't do it. Can anyone tell me how to download system mechanic?
