screen brightness cannot adjust

I have installed openSUSE Leap 15.1 on an acer c720 chromebook and cannot adjust the screen brightness, neither by function keys nor the following.
Code:~ $ xbacklight
No outputs have backlight property
~ $ cat /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
cat: /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness: No such file or directoryFromhttps://forums.opensuse.org/showthre...ss-in-openSUSE I also tried adding Code:acpi_osi=\"!Windows 2012\"at the end of '/etc/sysconfig/bootloader', and rebooted. All to no effect.
