Chiefs gear rushed to Gillette Stadium after being left on plane
The Kansas City Chiefs had equipment rushed to Gillette Stadium on Sunday after they accidentally left a container on the team plane.
A box with shoulder pads, helmets, and footballs wasn't unloaded Saturday before the plane returned to Newark, New Jersey. Approximately 35 players were left without their bags.

The equipment arrived about 90 minutes before Kansas City's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff versus the New England Patriots. The Chiefs would have had to forfeit if they didn't get their equipment by kickoff, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The Chiefs - not the Patriots or the NFL - were responsible for the mishap, according to Schefter.
