Broncos' Miller calls Lock 'a f---ing rock star' after Texans upset
Warning: Story contains coarse language
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller couldn't contain his excitement for rookie quarterback Drew Lock, who has now won his first two NFL starts while throwing five touchdowns.
"He's a fucking rock star," said Miller, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post.
Lock starred in Denver's upset over the Houston Texans on Sunday, finishing the 38-24 win 22 of 27 for 309 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
The second-round pick's three touchdowns all came in the first half to give the Broncos an insurmountable 31-3 lead over the AFC South leaders.
Lock's swagger was on full display with his touchdown celebrations, which were inspired by the "Buzz Lightyear" nickname bestowed upon him by his teammates because of his wristband containing play calls.

"It blew up on Twitter (last week), so the offensive line was like, 'You should shoot the laser after we score a touchdown,'" Lock explained, per Kyle Newman of The Denver Post. "So I was like, 'All right' " We fully embraced it."
Lock will go head to head with Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes next week as the 5-8 Broncos look to play spoiler in the AFC playoff race.
