PHOTOS: Coffee chats with cops

Hamilton police held another of their "Coffee with a Cop" sessions at the Starbucks at York Boulevard and Bay Street on Thursday morning. The events, usually held every other month, give members of the public a chance to meet with a police officer in an informal setting to air their concerns and hopefully alleviate the mistrust many have with law enforcement. The first Coffee with a Cop was held in Hawthorne, Calif., in 2011 and has spread to nine countries in the ensuing years.
