Installation of Debian 10.0

Using Lenovo H50-05 Model # 90BH0000PUS...Trying to install operating system. Can't figure out how to get machine to boot from DVD first. Boot splash screen shows Debian 10.1 Buster but when I click on that it boots into Debian and wants a user name and password. Don't know them.
