Before wiping out MacBook harddrive... anything to remind on?

Hey,
it works, i can run MX live distro on MacBook,
today Fehlix (dev) found out new way how to load LiveUSB into MacBook (damn vcard issues).
I am onto wiping out the whole drive (two partitions : EFI and iOS) to set up MX as a single OS.
But MacBook is a strange unit, and it is better to be prepared before acting.
Is there something i should be aware off before deleting all partitions?
