Linux Mint graphics card driver FAILED
by silvercoin from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4WM27)
Using Cinnamon in Linux Mint 18.1.
I get a get a message at startup that states that the video is running rendering mode.
When I run inxi -Gx I get a failed video driver.
-System-Product-Name ~ $ inxi -Gx
Graphics: Card: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI] Device 15d8 bus-ID: 07:00.0
X.Org: 1.15.1 drivers: ati (unloaded: vesa, radeon) FAILED: fbdev Resolution: 1680x1050@77.0hz
GLX Renderer: Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.4, 128 bits) GLX Version: 2.1 Mesa 10.1.0 Direct Rendering: Yes
Also, when I bring up the driver manager, it shows....
No proprietary drivers in use.
Thanks
