Clowney: 'No way' I'm missing Seahawks-49ers battle for NFC West
by Michael McClymont from on (#4X3E1)
Seattle Seahawks pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney has missed his team's last two games with a core injury but vows to be in the lineup for Sunday's NFC West decider against the San Francisco 49ers.
"There's no way I'm not playing," Clowney said Thursday, according to Omar Ruiz of NFL Network.
The 26-year-old has been limited in practice, but his presence in Week 17 would be welcome for a Seattle club with 14 players on its injury report this week.
Acquired by trade this offseason, Clowney has 30 tackles and three sacks in 12 games.
The Seahawks rank third last in sacks with 26 on the year.
