VNC to Suse from OS X

Hello Everyone,
I'm having trouble getting my VNC server set-up. I had it somewhat working in the past (very very slow), but can't get it working now with a new Suse 15.1 install.
I've gone through quite a few "how-tos" with no luck.
So far I think I've installed both x11vnc and tigervnc. I think my vnc server is active "server:2"
I can't connect to it through OS X. I've been able to connect with screen share in the past, but right now I'd like to use anything that works.
Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
