The Cleveland Browns will interview Buffalo Bills assistant Brian Daboll for their head coaching vacancy, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Daboll has spent the last two seasons as Buffalo's offensive coordinator. Despite earning an AFC wild-card berth, the Bills' scoring unit ranked 26th in the NFL this season.

The experienced assistant was hired in 2018 after one season at Alabama as the school's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He played a major role in quarterback Josh Allen's development in his second campaign.

Cleveland fired Freddie Kitchens after one season and is reportedly vetting a number of candidates to replace him, including Daboll, Mike McCarthy, Josh McDaniels, and Robert Saleh.

The Browns will be unable to meet with Daboll until after the Bills play the Houston Texans on Saturday, per ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
