Upgrade CentOS 6 to 8 with Logical Volumes

Hi All
I plan to upgrade one of my old servers to CentOS 8. I will perform a clean install as I have done many times before. This server however has some data drives configured as Logical Volumes, the OS is on seperate Raid 1 drives.
Before I get myself into a regretable situation I would like to ask if finding the Logical Volumes after the re-install is easy and what precautions should I take before starting this task.
