Diggs off injury report, Thielen questionable after ankle stitches
The Minnesota Vikings officially listed receiver Adam Thielen as questionable for Saturday's divisional-round game against the San Francisco after he needed stitches for a bad cut on his ankle suffered during Wednesday's practice.
Fellow Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs was taken off the injury report Thursday after missing the last two practice sessions with an illness.
The initial prognosis is that Thielen should be able to play against the 49ers, but Minnesota is still gathering information and will proceed with caution, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
"You know how it is. I got a little tangled up in practice," Thielen said Thursday on "Good Morning Football," according to NFL Network's Will Selva. "It's the playoffs. I'm going to do whatever it takes to be out there with my teammates and help this team win."
Thielen missed six games and parts of others during the regular season while battling hamstring issues. In 10 starts, he caught 30 passes for 418 yards and six touchdowns.
