Split tunneling or? (Opensuse)

Hi,
Up until now, I've been running different ubuntu/debian based distributions, but I'm changing to Opensuse because of a problem with my air mouse.
Anyway, I have been running a split tunnel, a modified version of this one:

I want to setup a similar one on Opensuse, but I can't get it working. Anyone know of a better guide for Opensuse? (among other things update-resolv-conf does not want to play)
Or if anyone have any other solutions? I need the browsers routed outside the vpn.
I have been fiddling around with docker as well, but as I need to manually start downloads after reboot, I isn't very handy in my case.
