Help with setting up a Brother MFC-9130CW All-in-One Printer on Slackware 14.1

I'm basically still a newbie. Converting from Win 7 to Slackware 14.1 .2? I will be setting this printer up on multiple computers running the Slackware 14.? with the KDE GUI. The house gunnia pig computer was built about 10 years ago and has the following, Computer board is an MSI 760GM-P33 I believe I'd put an AMD Phenom II in it. It has 16 GB DDR3 Ram and a WD 1TB SSD HDD. I've done the automated setup but I still can't wrap my head around how to do add on setup/install. Linux setup or installer strings.
