How can I detect computer (windows or mac) peripheral failure with Debian Live USB key?
by PicardDefendingData from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4XS9Y)
I am training myself to be a Windows or Apple Software technician as a Geek Squad Agent or Genius at the back of Best Buy or Apple Store.
Now the hard drive, the graphics card and/or the RAM could get corrupted all of a sudden.
How can I use the latest Debian Live on the USB key to check which one of these has gone bad without opening the chassis of the laptop or desktop?
Or if you have any other suggestions about what other peripherals might become broken and can be detected without opening the box please let me know.
Thank you very much.
