Is there anyone that can help me get a Minolta scan dual 4 film scanner to work with Linux Mint 18
by speleoalan from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4Y454)
My film scanner works with windows xp But I have set up a computer with Linux Mint Sonya and Downloaded Wine to install the windows software. The scanner is found by sane-find-scanner but not listed by scanimage -L command. When I try to run the DiImage scan utility windows software it says scanner not detected or time out.

# No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a kernel SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.
