Aaron Rodgers' quest for a second Super Bowl was ended by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but the star quarterback is still confident the current iteration of the Green Bay Packers can make a title run.

"The window is open for us, and that's the exciting thing," Rodgers said after Green Bay's 37-20 loss in the NFC Championship Game, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. "I think we're gonna be on the right side of one of these real soon."

Rodgers finished the game with 326 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also fumbled three times, losing one.

Sunday's loss marked Rodgers' third defeat in four career NFC Championship Game appearances. He'll be 37 years old the next time the playoffs roll around.

Even though time is ticking for the two-time MVP, he was positive when reflecting on his first campaign with rookie head Matt LaFleur.

"This (season) is special because it became fun again," Rodgers said.

While Rodgers missed out on reaching the big game, he made Packers history by moving past Brett Favre for the most playoff touchdowns (40) in franchise history.
