Choosing the right Linux Distro
by millambar from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4Y5EA)
Hi All.
I'm new to the forum and quite new to Linux.
I would like a little advice about the right distro for me.
Previously installed Ubuntu Bionic Beaver and the network card started giving issues. apparently this is a known issue. Used all the platforms and tried all the fixes with no joy. installed Deepin 15.11 which fixed the issue, but doesn't support a second monitor very well.
I'm doing a masters degree and need both network and dual screen.
Which distro will do that without causing me too much upset?
I live in South Africa, so our data prices are insane. That's why I don't want to download 20 distros and play.
Any advice?
TIA
