[boot]: the '[ OK ]'s are out of the screen

Hello,
After changing the screen, the '[ OK ]'s are out at startup. So I tried:

1. vbeinfo in grub to get the preferred resolution
2. GRUB_GFXMODE=1600x1200, in /etc/default/grub
3. GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD="keep"
4. GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nomodeset"
5. sudo update-grub

but the '[ OK ]'s are still out of the screen. Is there anything else I can try?
