Arrest warrant issued for Antonio Brown for burglary with battery

The Hollywood Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown for felony burglary with battery, according to ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

The warrant stems from an incident that took place outside the 31-year-old's home Tuesday involving a moving truck and workers. An altercation arose when Brown refused to pay employees, and it escalated when he threw a rock at a moving truck driver, according to TMZ. Brown's trainer, Glen Holt, was arrested Tuesday for felony burglary with battery.

Police issued the warrant after unsuccessfully trying to contact Brown for questioning, according to Wolfe. Brown remained in his home Wednesday.

Brown only appeared in one game in 2019 due to various off-field issues. In September, a sexual assault lawsuit was filed against him by his former trainer, while another woman later also accused him of sexual misconduct. Last week, Brown verbally berated officers who were responding to an incident between him and the mother of his children. The Hollywood Police Department's athletic league severed ties with the wideout following the incident and returned a financial donation he'd gifted them.

Brown made seven Pro Bowls as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and led the NFL in receiving yards twice.
