HP Printer suggestion?
by wdarledge from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4YCY1)
In 2007 when i first tried Linux (Suse - before Novell) I had a cheap HP no frills USB printer. Worked like a charm with Linux.\
Now... I need a HP again.
What do you think is the best way to go?
Ink or Toner>Model>wireless or ethernet?
My initial thought is toner and ethernet but, they are $200+~!
Is toner any cheaper than ink? And these are monochrome. Not doing the color toner printer... can anybody?
So, it's ink. Model/wireless or ethernet?
On inkjet printers the cheaper they are the more the man.(?) offloads more of the decisions to the printer cartridge, so... not the $59 one!!
Which one do 'YOU' have? Recommend or not?
From what i can read and past experience, even the $59 will run under hp-setup, so it's about the printer cost and convenience.
Thanks en avance~!
