Brightness 100% by default
by Framu from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4YQHD)
Hi all,
I installed Slackware64 current on my laptop, with Xfce as the default session manager. I'm finding that everytime I boot up and start X, the screen brightness is reset to 100% and I have to turn it down i.e. it doesn't remember my last setting after reboot. Is this just an Xfce bug, or an X bug, and is there a way to set the default to less than 100% somewhere?
Thanks.
