A police chase took place on the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl parade route early Wednesday morning.

Video emerged from various news outlets and parade attendees.

Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas tweeted shortly thereafter that the chase ended with police apprehending a suspected impaired driver.
