First Iter D-ring Field Coil Completed In Japan

Japanese manufacturers have completed construction of the first 360-metric ton D-shaped toroidal field coil for the ITER Tokamak project in France. The massive field coil will be shipped from the port of Kobe to France on an ocean voyage expected to take eight weeks, starting in early March.(read more)
