Desktop Migration issues in Ubuntu 19.10

Having issues converting my Ubuntu 19.10 install to Kubuntu. I believe I've installed all the necessary packages for KDE Plasma to run, but when I try to fetch updates in Discover, Discover just seems to spin its wheels forever. I tried updating my packages in the terminal using sudo apt update, which did help, but running Discover afterwards to get updates doesn't work. Is there a package I forgot to install in the migration process or something? Maybe something that has to do with package management?
