Uninstall multiple copies of an Synergy

Hi everyone. I want to learn Linux for work so I setup a CentOS 7 system (what we use at work) and right off the bat I hit a hurdle. I want to use Synergy so I don't have to have multiple keyboards. I installed Synergy from yum (1.10 version) but it seems Symless has a bug with TLS in their software. They told me to install a new version that is supposed to correct this issue. I ran yum against the URL they gave me but the installer gave a message that it can't upgrade. I then ran yum remove to uninstall the 1.10 version. It said it completed successfully but I knew something was wrong because the Synergy GUI was still open on my desktop. Not sure what the uninstall actually did then. I then ran yum again and pointed to the new version they told me to install. Now everything is all messed up. My Windows box is the Synergy server and is complaining that multiple connections are coming from my new Linux box. So I uninstalled the new version once again. So right now yum doesn't think Synergy is installed by if I run the Top command I can see the Synergyd processes running. Also my Windows box is showing that the Linux system is still trying to connect. So at this point Yum knows nothing about Synergy so I can't remove it that way.
So finally how do I remove Synergy if Yum doesn't know anything about it? I am yummed out at this point :) Any help would be appreciated.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=3bwUHhbEOXk:kgoEL1EiT7c:F7zBnMy latest?i=3bwUHhbEOXk:kgoEL1EiT7c:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=3bwUHhbEOXk:kgoEL1EiT7c:gIN9vFw3bwUHhbEOXk
